1. Introduction

  1. This privacy policy applies to Alver Services (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) and the services provided on www.alverservices.com (“Site”, “Website”, “Service”, “Services”) which are owned and operated by Alver Services Limited.
  2. This privacy policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information we collect from and about you when you use the Services or visit our Website.
  3. We take our obligations regarding your privacy seriously and have made every effort to draft this privacy policy in a matter that is clear and easy for you to understand.
  4. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy policy and our Terms of Service.

2. Changes

  1. We may modify this privacy policy at any time, but if we do so, we will notify you by publishing the changes on www.alverservices.com.
  2. If we determine the changes are material, we will provide you with additional, prominent notice as is appropriate under the circumstances, such as via email or in another conspicuous manner reasonably designed to notify you.
  3. If, after being informed of the changes, you continue to use our services beyond the advance-notice period, you will be considered as having expressly consented to the changes in your privacy policy.
  4. If you disagree with the terms of this privacy policy or any updated privacy policy, you should contact our support team at enquiries@alverservices.com.

3. Data

  1. We collect personal information, such as your name and email address, when you submit information to us.
  2. Any information and all profile information is referred to herein as your “Personal information”.
  3. Alver Services uses information we collect to operate, maintain and provide you the Site, to analyse how the Site is used, diagnose service or technical problems, maintain security, personalise content, remember information to help you efficiently access products or services, monitor aggregate metrics and track content and users as necessary to comply with any applicable laws.
  4. We do not store any card holder data.

4. Log Data

  1. Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).
  2. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s internet protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

5. Usage data

  1. We collect usage data about you whenever you interact with our Site.
  2. The data we collect includes, but is not limited to, the webpages you visit on our Site, what you click on and when you performed those actions.
  3. Additionally, like most websites today, our web servers keep log files that record data each time a device accesses those servers.
  4. The log files contain data about the nature of each access, including originating IP address, operating system version and time stamps.

6. Device data

  1. We collect data from the device and application you use to access our Site.
  2. The data we collect includes your IP address, operating system version, device type, system and performance information and browser type.
  3. We may also infer your geographic location based on your IP address.

7. Referral data

  1. If you arrive at our Site from an external source (such as a link on another website or in an email) we record information about the source that referred you to us.

8. Cookies

  1. Like many websites, we also use “cookie” technology to collect additional website usage data to improve the Site.
  2. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information.
  3. We only use first party cookies.
  4. A first party cookie stores a small amount of text on your computer, which is created when you visit our Site.
  5. By default, first-party cookies are allowed in every web browser.

9. Analysis

  1. To manage our Site, we internally use your information to perform statistical and other analysis on information we collect (including Usage data, Device data and Referral data).
  2. We also measure user behaviour and trends to understand how people use our Site and to monitor, troubleshoot and improve our Site, including to help us evaluate or device new features and content.
  3. We may use your information for internal purposes designed to keep our Site secure and operational, such as for troubleshooting and testing purposes, and for service improvement, marketing, research and development purposes.

10. Data locations

  1. Like many other companies, we store all your Alver Services data on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland.

  3. Despite our best efforts, users should be advised that no method of storing electronic information can ever by 100% secure. Please refer to section 15 for more information.
  4. Customer data and personal data provided to us is also stored in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system hosted on our secure internal servers to help us improve our Services.
  5. We will not keep your personal information for longer than necessary for our business purposes or for legal requirements.

11. Google analytics

  1. In addition to the above, we use Google Analytics on our Site.
  2. We use this to gather the statistics on site visits, page views, bounce rate, average time on site, pages per visit and percentage of new visits.
  3. Visitors to our Site may opt-out of certain types of Google Analytics tracking by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

12. Use of contact information

  1. From time to time we may contact existing customers via email by using your personal identifiable information to:
    1. Provide you with information on similar products and services.
    2. Respond to demo requests.
    3. Send you an order confirmation and receipts.
    4. Resolve disputes, calculate and collect fees, and troubleshoot problems.
    5. Verify your identity and the information you provide.
    6. Encourage a safe online experience and enforce our policies.
    7. Customise your experience, analyse usage of the Site, improve and measure interest in our products and services, and inform you about updates to our services.
    8. Provide you with information that may affect your use of the Site.
    9. Communicate marketing and promotional offers.
    10. Provide customer service.
    11. Perform certain other business activities.
  2. Upon receipt of the first communication of this type, you will have the opportunity to opt-out of future communications by clicking an unsubscribe link or by following the unsubscribe instructions described within the communication or otherwise notifying us at enquiries@alverservices.com.
  3. We may, however, send you messages through email or other means of communications as part of our services regarding the products or services, and you will not be able to opt-out of receiving such messages. Communications you won’t be able to opt-out from also include (ii), (iii), (v), (vi) and (viii) as stated in section 12a.
  4. We may use contact information which users of our site have provided when requesting additional information such as demo requests.

13. E-newsletter

  1. If a user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
  2. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our monthly e-newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
  3. You have the right to stop receiving e-newsletters. You can opt out of email newsletters by simply clicking ‘opt out’ at the bottom of the e-newsletter, or you can request to be opted out by emailing enquiries@alverservices.com. You will cease to receive email newsletters if you have not opened an email in the last 6 months and your data will be deleted from MailChimp on an annual basis.

14. People we are in contact with

  1. Any personal or non-personal information provided to us via email, social media, and/or telephone may be stored on our internal server systems such as our CRM, internal shared drives, and email provider.
  2. Any information provided to us physically in the form of a letter may be filed at our office for internal use.
  3. If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored on the social media platform contact was made through, for no longer than a year.

15. Information sharing and disclosure

  1. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide service to us, including without limitation, hosting and maintenance, billing, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns.
  2. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data.

16. Compliance with Laws and Law enforcement

  1. Alver Services cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law.
  2. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to responds to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Alver Services or a third party, the safety of the public, or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.

17. Access to personal information

  1. Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Act 1998. If we do hold information about you we will:
    • give you a description of it;
    • tell you why we are holding it;
    • tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
    • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
